Blizzard has Announced Beta Test of Diablo 3

Blizzard has announced beginning of Diablo III beta testing. Blizzard has confirmed that the development of the long-expected game is entering the final stages. Diablo III is a sequal to Diablo II and original Diablo released in 2000 and 1996 respectively. Development of Diablo III was announced back in 2001, and it took the developer over 10 years to get to the beta test period. The game is impatiently anticipated by millions of loyal fans worldwide and is estimated to be a huge success after it releases. 

The beta test will allow gamers to play Act 1, and will provide five selectable classes. The game is yet available only in English. "This closed beta test is an important milestone for us as we enter the final stages of development on Diablo III," Blizzard CEO and cofounder Mike Morhaime in a stated. "Our goal is to create the best action role-playing game experience to date, building on everything we've learned since the release of Diablo II and incorporating the powerful features of the new platform. We hope players enjoy participating in the beta test and we look forward to hearing their feedback."

A release date for Diablo III has not yet been announced.

  1. Great news, really looking forward to release. This is an iconic title and news like this is really a massively important. I already have orders for thousands of this title and the number will even more increase by the release date. But that's not the important, the important is that we are one step closer to Diablo III release.
